Portakal Art and Culture House has been organizing auctions since 1914, providing antique dealership, gallery management, art consultancy and appraisals. In our galleries in Nişantaşı, Ottoman art works, paintings, calligraphy, silver, tombac, furniture, textiles, porcelain and chandeliers are offered for sale. After the appraisal studies are completed with the advisory board consisting of experts, the works are evaluated by being offered for sale on behalf of their owners at auctions or in our galleries. In addition to these, the works are also purchased by our institution. Appraisal studies are carried out in our galleries in Nişantaşı or where the works are located. Special introductory exhibitions are organized in our galleries before the auctions. Art lovers learn about the works they are interested in and examine them closely in these exhibitions. In addition to auction exhibitions, special collection exhibitions are also organized in the galleries of Portakal Art and Culture House.
