FROM WARHOL TO HIRST After our two exhibitions starting with Monet and extending to the great masters of the 20th century such as Picasso, Matisse, and Dali, we are now presenting the works of contemporary artists from the West. We believe that this exhibition, which includes the most “extreme” artists of the 20th century such as Calder, Fontana, Poliakoff, Richter, Vasarely, Warhol, and Hirst, has a special importance for the art of our country, which has left the problems of modernization behind. In a world where the boundaries in the field of art are collapsing today, despite all the differences – we can also call them riches – this exhibition proves that art speaks a common language. We hope to meet in more comprehensive, more meaningful new exhibitions. Raffi Portakal March 2010
