ISMAIL ZUHDI

He was born in the Black Sea town of Ünye. His father
He came to Istanbul with Ahmed Hıfzı Efendi
He learned the term "aklam-i sitte". In 1766, with the permission
He took the pseudonym Zühdi. During the reign of Sultan Mustafa III.
He was appointed as the calligraphy teacher of the Enderan-i Hümayun and
He remained in this position until his death. Imperial Palace
He became a calligrapher, wrote 40 mushafs, countless stanzas and
He wrote a hilye. Among the calligraphers he trained was his brother
Mustafa Rakım is also included.
