The artist was born in Istanbul and his family moved to Geneva in the year he was born.

He left his education unfinished due to his interest in painting and cartoons.
In 1933, Nurullah Berk, Cemal Tollu, Zeki Faik İzer, Elif Naci
and the "D Group" group with sculptor Zühtü Müritoğlu
creates.
Having lived mostly in Paris in the second half of his life,
Self-taught painter Abidin Dino is a figurehead of the French art world
He became an active part of the summer of 1959, when he spent his first holiday in France.
